West Coast Swing
The West Coast Swing is a recent evolution of Swing dancing derived from Lindy-Hop in particular, it is THE perfect dance for Pop, R&B, Funk, Motown and Blues as they are ideally suited for this dance!
Although the international popularity of this dance is quite recent (due in part to Benji Schwimmer's win on So You Think You Can Dance) the West Coast Swing appeared as early as the 1950s on the West-Coast of the United-States and is today the official dance of the state of California.
Studio 88-SWING is the first dance school in Montreal to offer WCS classes with teachers who have placed several times in US based competitions.
